What a delightful Saturday! We had absolutely no commitments or deadlines or things we had to go out and do. So I played all day. It’s been a long time since I could to that!

The day started with pancakes for breakfast, always a Saturday favourite. Today it was a leisurely breakfast because we didn’t have to rush out to get stuff done. Then I read stories to the boys, played with them, dried dishes (Joel “helped” wash), chatted to everybody (Micah too!) with no need for a point to the conversation. Chatting for companionship’s sake.

In the afternoon I played on the computer while the boys had their nap. They came and watched videos with me when they woke up. After supper I sang with them while Debbie played the piano. I went back to playing on the computer once they were down for the night.

What a fun, relaxed day! It’s even better than being on vacation!
