Yes, I got some sleep. A great sleep last night and a nap this afternoon.

I played with Joel all morning while the rest of the family was out shopping. We vacuumed the house together as well. Quite entertaining. Joel’s 6-inch reach meant the vacuuming got done in very small sweeps.

This evening we went swimming at a friend’s pool. We cooled down and the boys had fun.

Today has been a restful day. Nothing that had to get done. No stresses. Happy kids. Time to enjoy being with my family. Debbie was hard at work all day with groceries, baking and cooking, so her story might be a little different. But I’ve had a chance to recover.
