There was a lunar eclipse last night. I argued with myself over whether I was going to get up in the early hours of the morning to go out and photograph today’s event, but the need desperate craving for sleep won. The photo you see here was not of that eclipse. Later this morning I looked through pictures others had taken. I particularly liked this one. Totality against the dawn sky. It’s similar to what I would have seen, if I’d been more adventurous and less sensible (and not quite so sleepy). According to flickr, it seems like Australia was the best place to be for photos.
