I found out today that brother John is coming to stay for a few days, in about two weeks. That was an unexpected and very happy surprise. Bring it on, brother! The nephews will be especially excited. Their enthusiasm will know no bounds. After ten minutes of such exuberance John may reconsider the length of his stay. Not to worry. I have a proven coping mechanism: retreat to the safety of the office and while away the hours on the computer.

And now, to somehow make it so that the days he’s here work is not insanely busy… Sigh! I can but dream.
