Barrel of Monkeys: a hyperbolistic idiom referring to good-natured pandemonium (from Wikipedia).

In this case it’s a box of boys. It’s always pandemonium. It’s sometimes good-natured. But in our household it is never hyperbole.

Debbie took this photo. Note the skill of the photographer in getting all three boys to look at the camera at the same time. The fact that all three are smiling together is also a significant achievement.
