Massive TV Display

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) starts tonight in Las Vegas. Hundreds of companies showing off thousands of gadgets to tens of thousands of attendees. My brother and I went to CES a year ago, our first and (so far) only time. It’s a massive event of great interest to gadget-lovers like us. I’ve been avidly reading the blogs on this year’s event, fondly reminiscing of our own experiences. Looking back over my photos I wish I’d taken a lot more. But it was vast, crowded, noisy and a little intimidating. Sensory overload. It was fun. More easily digested by internet, but definitely worth the visit in person.

Photo note: Panasonic displaying their 103″ Plasma TVs. Each TV is as big as a Queen-size bed. That was 2007. This year they’re showing off a 150″ TV. That’s as big as an entire wall.

Let’s definitely go again! I had an absolute wow of a time, and a year later I still remember lots of little things that bring a smile to my face; just the sheer number of times I’ve said in conversation “oh, I saw that in CES” during 2007 has been very rewarding. =D
