Snow Day

With so much snow outside, Debbie thought it was a crime to spend a Saturday cooped up inside. Funny, I thought exactly the opposite. What better reason to be warm and dry indoors than when it’s cold and snowy out there? But she would not be reasoned with. She shooed all the boys out the door. Go play. So I shoveled the driveway (yet again) and eventually joined Daniel in zooming down the slopes on his saucer. It was a relaxing, restful morning, with no thought or mental effort involved.
