Family Life

Micah is sick again. He’d been recovering nicely from his previous cold and now he has a new one. Poor baby. He’s feeling miserable, not eating well, sleeping more. Debbie is sick with the same cold. She’s also utterly miserable and would like to spend all day in bed, but there are kids to look after. Joel and Daniel aren’t sick, although Daniel firmly believes he needs daily medicine. The two older boys haven’t been getting enough sleep lately, so they’re in a fractious mood. They refuse to nap in the afternoon and it’s difficult to put them to bed before 7pm. I’m worn out from late nights and a crying baby. But I’m not sick, and thankful for it.
